changelog

What shipped, by day.

Releases across the IsoKron tools, newest first. Each project keeps its own CHANGELOG.md in its repository; this page is the roll-up. Dates are the day the version reached npm or GitHub.

  1. cc-anchorv0.4.0repository

    • **Retraction push:** after every tool call, if a document the agent relied on changed, the hook puts what it relied on, what it says now and the word diff into the agent's context. In live headless runs this took stale-runbook deploys from 0/36 correct to 10/10.
    • **Pulse:** before deploy, migrate, publish, release, git push, terraform apply, kubectl apply (global options, quoting, line continuations, one-liners and here-docs included), the command is denied while an unresolved change is pending; warn-only mode available.
    • A corrupt kronicle-lite store is reported and blocks the pulse; an unreachable one fails open, with a one-time notice if the feed stays offline.
    • macOS: no extra kronicle-lite calls on unchanged stores under bash 3.2's one-second timestamps.
  2. sea-litev0.5.0repository

    • serve --core: 9 tools in 11.7 KB (the full catalog went from 59 KB to 32 KB).
    • sea_apply returns {ref: id} instead of echoing every ticket, and takes templates: an epic plus 20 chained tickets in one call is about 400 tokens.
    • sea_finish: close, note and release in one call, with a required outcome (done, blocked, abandoned). Bulk transitions.
    • Safer: errors name the failing template item, link or cycle; an idempotency key reused for a different request is refused; scope paths are resolved through symlinks.
    • Depends on kronicle-lite 0.7.0, which fixes a crash when several servers start at once on a fresh data directory.
  3. kronicle-litev0.7.0repository

    • Formatting-only edits (whitespace, reflow, emphasis and list markers) stay quiet; every other change, however small, is delivered as a retraction. Tested against a 38-case adversarial corpus, single-character mutations and re-introduced heuristics.
    • A paragraph moved to a different section is a retraction; a corrupt event is reported as an integrity failure instead of crashing.
    • Recall and orient are scoped to the current project; orient carries recent decision text through compaction; much smaller responses ("nothing changed" is one line).
    • Several processes starting at once on a fresh data directory no longer crash (Linux, macOS, Windows).
  4. kronicle-litev0.6.0repository

    • Every recall hit carries an authority label: can_act, inspect_only or never_act. Only block-level evidence reaches can_act.
    • Honest absence: a search says what it searched and what it could not, so "not found" is never claimed over a scope it did not cover.
    • Secret guard: writes holding credentials (AWS keys, tokens, private keys and similar) are refused before they reach the append-only chain; a second, broader ruleset checks what recall returns.
    • serve --core: six tools for small contexts; recall gains max_chars.
    • Attention rerank: hits the agent already read rank lower, never hidden.
  5. kronicle-litev0.5.0repository

    • Integrity: every read re-hashes the text it serves against the chain, so text edited behind the tool is withheld, not served. New rebuild and a projection check in doctor.
    • Instructions are keyed by project, so two repos sharing a data directory no longer retract each other's CLAUDE.md.
    • Retractions say what changed, in words: heading, old text, new text.
    • kronicle-lite demo: the stale-runbook story end to end in one command.
    • Tool catalog cut from 43 KB to 12 KB; serve --http serves 2025-era clients.
  6. sea-litev0.4.0repository

    • Per-session identity: two sessions under one actor label no longer share claims.
    • scope-check works from hooks; unrelated repositories no longer share a queue; leases default to 900 s and renew under a working agent.
    • sea-lite precommit --install: a git pre-commit guard that refuses commits inside another agent's claimed paths.
    • Human CLI: create, claim, next, release, board, whoami. serve --http serves 2025-era clients.
  7. cc-anchorv0.3.0repository

    • The scope guard now actually denies edits inside another session's claimed paths, and tells two sessions of one actor apart.
    • Lease heartbeat: PostToolUse renews the session's sea-lite claims while it works.
    • Contract tests against the real sea-lite CLI; fixes for macOS timeouts and hooks running a different node than the user's.
  8. kronicle-litev0.4.0repository

    • Anchor client: checkpoint --push, verify --remote, anchor status. The hosted service at anchor.isokron.ai went live the same day on a free tier.
    • watch and put --from-instructions: CLAUDE.md, AGENTS.md and Claude Code's MEMORY.md become chained documents, so an edit shows up as a retraction in the next orient.
    • Git-aware blocks: put --bind-git ties a document to a file at a commit; verify and audit_assumptions report stale_source when the file changes.
    • kronicle-lite doctor; Windows CI.
  9. sea-litev0.3.0repository

    • sea-lite serve --http: Streamable HTTP with a per-teammate token; each request runs as that token's actor.
    • sea_stats and sea-lite stats: per-actor claims, releases, expiries, force releases and lease time, from the chain.
    • sea-lite doctor; sea_apply can link to existing tickets; claims can be bound to a git worktree and released with release-worktree.
    • Schema v3: upgrade every process that shares the data directory together.
  10. kronicle-litev0.3.0repository

    • MCP spec 2026-07-28 on the v2 TypeScript SDK; 2025-era clients still served over stdio. Tool names, schemas and the kronicle://docs/{slug} resource are unchanged.
    • kronicle-lite serve --http: Streamable HTTP on loopback with a generated bearer token and Host/Origin checks. Single-tenant; see the threat model.
    • outputSchema + structuredContent on every tool, server/discover, and cache hints (catalog public for an hour, document reads private).
    • Tool catalog pinned with mcp-catalog-snap and checked in CI.
  11. sea-litev0.2.0repository

    • MCP spec 2026-07-28 on the v2 SDK, dual-era over stdio.
    • **Path-scoped claims**: sea_claim / sea_next take scope: { paths }; an overlapping live scope fails with scope_conflict naming the holder. sea_scope_check and sea-lite scope-check for hooks.
    • Moving a ticket into a terminal state asks for confirmation (elicitation), or requires confirm: true from clients without it.
  12. cc-anchorv0.2.0repository

    • Lifecycle hooks pack, all opt-in: Stop blocks exit while a sea-lite claim is unreleased, SubagentStop queues releases, PreToolUse scope guard denies edits inside another agent's claimed paths, Claude Code task list mirrored to sea-lite, InstructionsLoaded stamped on the card.
    • Cursor port.

  1. kronicle-litev0.2.0repository

    • Chain.findByIdempotencyKey(key): look up the event previously appended under an idempotency key, so a caller that mutates projection rows before its append can detect a replay up front.
    • Db and Opened types exported from the package root.
    • Default volume rollup now also folds sea_ticket.claimed, claim_released and claim_expired, so claim churn from a shared work queue does not dominate get_system_state deltas.
    • Published to npm and the MCP Registry as io.github.rafe-walker/kronicle-lite.
  2. kronicle-litev0.1.1repository

    • mcpName in package.json and a server.json for the official MCP Registry.
    • README: "Beyond one agent" section pointing at IsoKron.
  3. kronicle-litev0.1.0repository

    • First public release: SHA-256 hash chain over RFC 8785 canonical JSON with a public genesis; BLAKE3-256 content-addressed blocks; Ed25519-signed Merkle checkpoints; recall with receipt v2; verify and verify_chain; the orient protocol (HMAC cursors, delta fold, retraction classifier, drift banner, flight recorder); audit_assumptions; nine MCP tools over stdio and a CLI.
  4. sea-litev0.1.1repository

    • Every write tool now sets destructiveHint explicitly. The MCP default is true, so clients were prompting on sea_next, sea_claim, sea_refresh, sea_create and sea_apply as if they were destructive. Additive tools are now false; sea_update, sea_transition, sea_link (remove) and sea_release (operator force) stay true.
  5. sea-litev0.1.0repository

    • First public release: a fenced work queue for parallel coding agents. sea_next picks and claims atomically; claims are leases (≤ 600 s) fenced by a one-time token; typed links with an acyclic precedence graph; sea_apply for all-or-nothing batches; every change is an event on the kronicle-lite chain in the same SQLite file.
  6. cc-anchorv0.1.0repository

    • First release of the Claude Code plugin: a ≤ 25-line anchor card (project, goal, invariants, last five tool-call breadcrumbs, kronicle-lite cursor) written on PreCompact and re-injected verbatim at the top of the fresh context on SessionStart(compact), with the demote / RETRACTED reconciliation discipline.
    • Status line ⚓ <goal> · <N> since compact · drift: <M>m, the /cc-anchor:anchor skill, and a self-hosted marketplace. Works without kronicle-lite; carries the orient cursor across compaction when it is present.
  7. mcp-catalog-snapv0.1.0repository

    • First release: snapshot captures tools/list, prompts/list and resources/templates/list from a stdio or Streamable HTTP MCP server as RFC 8785 canonical JSON with a sha256 fingerprint; check re-captures and fails CI (exit 1) on any byte of drift, with JSON-Pointer paths and description-only changes flagged separately.
    • Composite GitHub Action (action.yml), .mcp-catalog.json for many servers, and a programmatic API.
  8. isokron-pluginsrepository

    • Claude Code plugin marketplace: claude plugin marketplace add rafe-walker/isokron-plugins, then /plugin install kronicle-lite@isokron-plugins or sea-lite@isokron-plugins. Each plugin pins one npm server version and bundles its skill.
  9. isokron.ai

    • Site rebuilt as a static Next.js app in its own repository, replacing the authenticated apps/web surface. Every technical claim traces to the kronicle-lite repository; platform claims are labelled in development.
    • Install above the fold for Claude Code (plugin), Cursor, GitHub Copilot and Codex; a Tools section for the four open-source projects; /changelog and /pricing; a recorded put → edit → orient demo; llms.txt and an Open Graph image.
    • /notes with an RSS feed at /notes/rss.xml; first note: shipping a production MCP server on the 2026-07-28 spec. /blog now redirects there.
  10. Directory submissions

    • kronicle-lite and sea-lite are listed in the official MCP Registry (io.github.rafe-walker/*). Submissions for the Claude plugin directory and awesome-mcp-servers are prepared; this entry will say "listed" when they are.
